Provider Service Core

Main Resposibilities

  • Installation and configuration of technical equipment and specialized VoIP software
  • Technical maintenance and support of VoIP solutions implemented by the company
  • Design, deploy and explain solutions to customers
  • Document and communicate in detail all interactions with the customer as it relates to open service requests
  • Keep accurate changelogs and records of all work completed 
  • Customers consulting and communication with partners for troubleshooting and tracking technical issues
  • Documenting technical deployments 
  • Prioritize and resolve trouble/request tickets including immediate escalation and urgent issue resolution
  • Performing technical analysis and research of existing and future products and solutions

Technical Qualification Requirements

  • Knowledge and understanding of VoIP protocols: SIP or others
  • Fundamental understanding of VoIP call flows and routing
  • Fundamental understanding of mobile networks architectures: 2G, 3G, LTE, IMS
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Ethernet and TCP/IP networks and protocols:TCP/UDP/IP
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Linux OS
  • Fundamental understanding of TDM telephony main principles and concepts
  • Knowledge in ISDN networks concepts and main protocols

  • Communicate clearly and effectively with peers, customers and management in a team environment
  • Good in documentation, reporting and knowledge sharing

We would be very happy if you have:

  • A thorough understanding and hands-on experience related to installing, configuration and maintenance of VoIP systems and equipment: SBC, gateways, IP Phones, IP-PBX, Skype for Business systems
  • Ability to understand and analyze WireShark results to solve SIP VoIP and IP internetworking challenges
  • Experience with carrier-grade voice or data systems (Radius/Diameter knowledge is a plus)
  • Experience with scripting languages: bash, python, perl and/or others 
  • Bachelor degree in telecommunications or computer science
  • Familiar with Linux system administration
  • Database (MySQL, Oracle or others) administration knowledge 
  • Understanding and hands-on experience of network routing & switching
  • CCNA or other similar certificates
  • Driving license (B category)
